Invasive species removal efforts have been initiated under Operation Goat, where the parks department has cleared invasive privet plants to facilitate easier trail creation in the greenbelt area. A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly constructed Bachman Lake Skatepark is scheduled for May 17 at 10 a.m., marking another significant milestone in the area’s upgrade.
