Dallas recognized outstanding contributions to women’s and adolescent health at the Annual Symposium hosted by Healthy Futures of Texas. Dallas honored numerous local organizations and healthcare professionals for their exceptional contributions to women’s and adolescent health at the Annual Symposium hosted by Healthy Futures of Texas from April 28-30. The nonprofit organization, dedicated to sexual and reproductive health, presented awards for outstanding efforts in health education, medical care, and advocacy aimed at improving the health outcomes of Texas adolescents and women.
The Community Partner Award was awarded to Dallas College Health Services and Promotion, acknowledging their significant role in promoting reproductive health and wellness. Trevon Oliver, program lead at Dallas College, was honored with the Rising Star Award due to his contributions to supporting minority male students and enhancing adolescent health.
