As of now, conditions are beginning to calm across the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) Metroplex following the storms. However, a flood watch remains in effect for several counties including Anderson, Bosque, Ellis, Freestone, Henderson, Hill, Johnson, Navarro, and Red River until 7 a.m. Tuesday. Authorities have warned that the strongest storms may still produce marginal hail and wind risks primarily south of Interstate 20.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch was issued until 5 a.m. Monday for nearly all of North Texas, including populous areas like Dallas and Tarrant Counties. Thunderstorms were forecasted to move into the region around 3 a.m., with the highest coverage of rain expected during the morning hours.
Localized areas may experience flash flooding due to the anticipated heavy rainfall. Forecasts suggest widespread totals of 1 to 3 inches, with a 20% chance that some localized areas could receive as much as 4 to 6 inches of rain.
