In light of this tragic loss, Ruby Cruz’s family has initiated fundraising efforts to cover her funeral expenses. Additionally, Brianna Valadez’s father announced that funds are being raised to assist with his family’s expenses following her untimely death. Brianna Valadez was remembered by her family as a bright light with a gentle spirit, particularly known for her work at Oak Cliff Pediatrics.

The families have expressed a desire for privacy and support during this difficult time and have refrained from making public statements until the investigation into the accident concludes.
