The fair was officially launched by Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson, who expressed his commitment to aiding students and families in need. Nearly 13,000 students from approximately 5,800 families were expected to benefit from an array of free school supplies, backpacks, and various services offered by around 200 vendors.

The event featured numerous initiatives to promote students’ health and confidence. Volunteer dentist services were provided for children in a fun environment, helping make dental care approachable and engaging.
