Dallas, Texas — Hilco Streambank, a leading intellectual property advisory firm, is actively soliciting bids for the acquisition of CoreSpace, a boutique data center located in Dallas. With a portfolio of over 200 customers, CoreSpace offers a diverse array of data center services, including colocation, public and private cloud solutions, dedicated and virtual servers, and search engine optimization for small and medium enterprises.
Interested parties are encouraged to submit non-binding indications of interest for CoreSpace by June 17, 2025. The company, which employs a full-time staff of six, generated more than $1.3 million in revenue in 2024 and is considered a prime opportunity for both new and experienced data center operators. Hilco Streambank CEO Gabe Fried emphasized that potential buyers can capitalize on the fact that CoreSpace currently utilizes less than 30% of its conditioned power infrastructure, which presents possibilities for significant expansion.
CoreSpace operates from a 30,000 square foot data center and office facility in Dallas that is fully occupied. The facility is equipped with 1 megawatt of conditioned power, with the potential to increase to 1.5 megawatts with utility support. CoreSpace has cultivated long-standing relationships with many of its clients, with numerous customers having remained with the company for ten years or longer. The top ten customers contributed an average billing of over $50,000 each in 2024.
In addition to its data center services, CoreSpace possesses a substantial inventory of resources, including over 130,000 American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN) allocated IP addresses, trademarks, and domain names. The company also has a range of onsite equipment and infrastructure, which encompasses critical power and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) components, as well as hardware for data management.
The founder, president, and CEO of CoreSpace, Liana Dunlap, is set to retire, and the current leadership has indicated that they will not remain with the company after the sale. However, some employees wish to continue their roles as part of the new ownership. Dunlap expressed pride in the company’s accomplishments and the positive relationships fostered within the Dallas community since its founding in 2009. CoreSpace relocated to its existing facility in 2011 and has been operating from its Dallas headquarters since 2012.
