Get Ready for the Future of Golf with ‘Fully Fit 2026’ Initiative!

Golf enthusiasts, mark your calendars because GOLF has just rolled out an exciting new initiative: the ‘Fully Fit 2026’. Designed to provide valuable insights into the best golf gear for players of all levels, this project promises to be a game changer for golfers everywhere!

A Unique Experience Awaits

As part of this initiative, six talented content creators from the GOLF team were selected to participate in a comprehensive club fitting experience. Over the course of nine action-packed days, they visited six different major club manufacturers in a journey that encompassed all the latest and greatest clubs available for 2026.

Meet the Panelists

The group included a diverse range of golfers with varying skill levels—handicaps ranged from a sharp 0 to a slightly higher 7.8. This diversity ensured that the insights gained would resonate with all types of golfers, from beginners to seasoned pros. Among the panelists were individuals known for their expertise in the golfing community, adding a wealth of knowledge to their findings.

The Fitting Journey Begins

The adventure started at Ping’s Proving Grounds, where the panelists were eager to swing away with the brand new Ping G440 K driver and S259 wedges. These clubs are designed to provide maximum performance, and our panel was ready to put them through their paces.

Next up was a stop at TaylorMade’s Kingdom, a renowned fitting facility where the golfers explored Qi4D drivers, fairway woods, hybrids, and the popular Spider putters. It was a fantastic opportunity for the golfers to see how each club performed and fit into their game.

Learning at the Titleist Performance Institute

Then it was off to Titleist’s impressive Performance Institute, boasting a sprawling 33-acre driving range! The panelists tested a range of Titleist clubs, including the latest Vokey SM11 wedges and Scotty Cameron Phantom putters. The insights gained from testing these tools of the trade were invaluable, helping the panelists analyze how these clubs matched their swings.

The Testing Continues

Cobra’s facility was next, where the participants got hands-on experience with Cobra’s OPTM metalwoods and their innovative 3DP iron lineup. With each tested club, the golfers grew more educated about their own gaming styles and how different clubs could enhance their performance.

The next highlight happened at Callaway’s Ely Callaway Performance Center, where cutting-edge technology allowed them to evaluate the new Quantum drivers and Chrome Tour golf balls for their speed and performance. This fitting was pivotal in understanding how the right equipment could enhance their abilities on the green.

Finishing Strong with Cleveland/Srixon

Finally, the panelists wrapped up their fittings with Cleveland/Srixon’s popular ZXi line of irons and RTZ wedges. After days of testing, learning, and analyzing, they left with a newfound understanding of their games, shedding light on how their individual physical capabilities relate to the right club choices.

Helping Golfers Make the Right Call

The ultimate goal of the Fully Fit 2026 initiative was to help golfers visualize how their equipment choices mirror their own games. For many, the transition into modern technology and fitting expertise can be daunting, but this project aims to make the decision process easier and more relatable.
