Dallas police have arrested 27-year-old Sergio Naffarratte, charging him with two counts of capital murder following a double stabbing in Old East Dallas early Saturday morning.

At approximately 1:30 a.m. on February 7, 2026, officers responded to a stabbing incident in the 400 block of N. Good Latimer Expressway. Upon arrival, they discovered two individuals who had been stabbed during a confrontation. The victims, identified as 28-year-old Alyshah Punjani and 30-year-old Adrian Williams Jr., were transported to a local hospital, where they later died from their injuries. Naffarratte sustained a minor cut during the altercation and was treated at the scene. He was subsequently taken into custody and charged with two counts of capital murder.

This incident marks the latest in a series of violent events in the Dallas area. In December 2025, a man was fatally stabbed in Old East Dallas, leading to the arrest of 33-year-old Cleto Banda on murder charges. Additionally, in September 2025, a 76-year-old woman was fatally stabbed in the Lake Highlands neighborhood, with 57-year-old Victus Ebem arrested and charged with murder in that case.
