Fort Worth, Texas – The JAMBALOO Music Festival is set to return from February 7 to February 15, 2026, with an expanded lineup and new initiatives aimed at supporting the local music community. Building on the success of its inaugural year, the festival will feature over 30 performances across 14 venues in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, offering free access to a diverse array of artists and events.

Expanded Lineup and Venues

This year’s festival will showcase a variety of local artists from multiple genres, performing at venues including Tulips in Fort Worth, Club Dada in Dallas, and FireHouse Gastro Park in Grand Prairie. Notable acts include Tripping Daisy, who will headline Tulips on February 13, marking their first performance in Fort Worth in over a decade. Other confirmed performers are Angel White, Catie Adams, Jenny Rose, and Cure for Paranoia. The full lineup is available on the festival’s official website.

New Initiatives and Partnerships

JAMBALOO 2026 introduces several new initiatives to enhance the festival experience:

• The JAMBALOO Symposium: Kicking off the festival on February 7 at Tulips, this event will feature discussions on current music trends, challenges facing independent venues, and strategies for strengthening the DFW music ecosystem. The evening will conclude with a special event featuring Cole Cuchna, host of the Dissect podcast, who will analyze select Radiohead songs, followed by live performances from Paranoid Androids, an Austin-based Radiohead tribute band.
• JAMBALOO After Hours: Debuting this year, these late-night events will focus on vinyl culture and DJ-driven performances. Programming includes three nights at LadyLove Lounge, a Josey Records takeover featuring Mark Farina and his Mushroom Jazz Experience, and a Valentine’s Night appearance by Kenny Dope at Deep Ellum Art Co.
• Partnership with Amplified Minds: The festival has expanded its partnership with Amplified Minds, a North Texas nonprofit providing free mental health support to the creative community. Amplified Minds will play a larger role in the festival through a dedicated panel featuring musicians and mental health leaders, as well as year-round workshops and community programs supporting artists, gig workers, and local audiences.

JAMBALOO Music Prize

In addition to the festival, JAMBALOO has launched the JAMBALOO Music Prize, a $20,000 annual award recognizing the best full-length album released in 2025 by a solo artist or band from the Greater Dallas-Fort Worth area. The winner will be announced on June 6, 2026, at a free concert at the historic Longhorn Ballroom, featuring performances by the three finalists and a national headliner. The prize includes a professionally produced single with four-time Grammy-winning engineer Tre Nagella at Luminous Sound, radio support from 91.7 KXT, and promotional support from Josey Records, Prekindle, and Do214. Submissions are open through January 4, 2026, at jambaloo.live/music-prize.
